An Army Special Forces medic works side by side with a nurse practitioner at the improvised clinic in Cap Haitien, Feb 9. The nurse practitioner has run a non-governmental organization in Haiti for more than 20 years. The clinic, operated out of the community gymnasium, is run by the local hospital with the help of many volunteers such as missionaries, non-governmental organizations and Army medics provided by the Joint Forces Special Operations Component Command. Its main purpose is to be used as an urgent care overflow for the local hospital. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Victoria Meyer/Released)
