Lt. Col. Adam Frederick, commander of 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, secures the blades on his OH-58 Kiowa Warrior one final time after the unit's last formation flight, Simmons Army Airfield, N.C., April 15. Even though the unit will not fly these Kiowas at Fort Bragg, they will soon deploy to South Korea, where they will fall in on the Kiowas there and serve as the last air cavalry unit to fly the aircraft in Korea.
