160412-N-MD297-016 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 13, 2016) Damage Controlman 3rd Class Michael Easter gives training to Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Electrical) Fireman Shantal Benitez during an engineering training team (ETT) drill aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82). Lassen is currently underway in support of Operation Martillo, a joint operation with the U.S. Coast Guard and partner nations within the 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
