An LC-130 "Skibird" flies over Little Cornwallis Island, Nunavut, Canada, on April 13, 2016, in support of Canada's annual Operation Nunalivut. A group of eight Airmen from the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing prepared the ski-way for LC-130 operations while at the same time training four Canadian engineers on how to construct a ski-way. Nearly 50 Airmen and two LC-130s from the 109th were part of the exercise which also had operations in Resolute Bay, Canada, and Thule Air Base, Greenland. This is the third year the 109th has participated. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Airman 1st Class Jamie Spaulding/Released)
