Harris is in Rota for the start of Africa Partnership Station West. The amphibious transport dock ship Gunston Hall is deployed as the main platform for Africa Partnership Station West. Africa Partnership Station is an international initiative developed by Naval Forces Europe and Naval Forces Africa to improve maritime safety and security in West and Central Africa.
