160415-N-QG671-016 GULF OF OMAN (Apr. 15, 2016) USS Gladiator (MCM 11) operates with HMS Defender, HMS Chiddingfold and HMS Penzance during the International Mine Countermeasures Exercise (IMCMEX). IMCMEX, the largest maritime exercise in the world, focuses on maritime security from the port of origin to the port of arrival and will include scenarios that range from mine countermeasures, infrastructure protection and maritime security operations in support of civilian shipping.
