Members of the U.S. and Central American firefighting teams gather for a group photo during the CENTAM SMOKE (Sharing Mutual Operational Knowledge and Experience), a biannual event hosted by Joint Task Force-Bravo at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, April 22, 2016. Joint Task Force-Bravo has trained 866 firefighters from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Belize since 2005, providing an opportunity for U.S. and Central American firefighters to work as one, building collaborative relationships as partner nations and allowing those involved to take valuable lessons back to their countries.
