A loadmaster with the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing loads a Canadian transport vehicle onto an LC-130 "Skibird" at Little Cornwallis Island, Nunavut, Canada, on April 13, 2016, in support of Canada's annual Operation Nunalivut. A group of eight Airmen from the 109th AW prepared the ski-way for LC-130 operations and also trained four Canadian engineers on how to build the ski-way. Nearly 50 Airmen and two LC-130s from the 109th were part of the exercise which also had operations in Resolute Bay, Canada, and Thule Air Base, Greenland.
