Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Seth Thomas Secrease, a line corpsman with K Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment holds up a Combat Application Tourniquet like the one he used to treat Lance Cpl. John Benson after a improvised explosive device attack near Habbaniyah, Iraq June 17, 2006. The 28-year-old from Choteau, Mont. wore a pair of night vision goggles as he applied the device to stop the bleeding from injuries that nearly claimed the 21-year-old Marine's life.
