Airshow patrons learn about and explore the AAV-7 Amphibious Assault Vehicle at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., (DATE), during the 2016 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show "Celebrating 75 Years."
The AAV-7 Amphibious Assault Vehicle is a highly mobile, tracked, armored, amphibious vehicle that transports Marines and cargo through hostile territory. This year's air show celebrated Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing's 75th anniversary. This is our biggest lineup of demonstration teams featuring 40 static displays and 17 aerial performers.
