On the 4th of July, many Soldiers took the time off to have a private get together throughout FOB Marez, while the Morale Welfare and Recreation team was providing the rest of the FOB multiple activities to engage in at the Marez Dinning Facility to celebrate Independence day here in Iraq, that involved a ice cream eating contest to close out the festivities.
