SHANGHAI (May 7, 2016) Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, Vice Adm. Joseph Aucoin, and staff meet with Rear Adm. Wang Hai, deputy commander of the People’s Republic of China, People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA(N)), at a welcome reception hosted by PLA(N), and staff during a tour of the PLA(N) Lanzhou destroyer Xi’ an (DDG 153). The U.S. 7th Fleet staff is embarked on the 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge, currently on patrol in the Indo-Asia Pacific to build partnerships for the security and stability of the region.
