Marines with 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, perform a field exercise of an M776 Chrome Tube for the 155mm M777A2 Lightweight Towered Howitzer in the Lead Mountain Training Area aboard the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., May 3, 2016. Marines evaluated the durability and cleanability of the chrome-plating by firing 50 M232A1 top zone charges at an approximate rate of one round every 90 seconds.
