Senior Airman Daniel Shoemaker, an E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft electrical and environmental systems journeyman deployed with the 380th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's Sentry aircraft maintenance unit at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia, places a ventilation hose on an E-3 during operations at his deployed base March 1. As an electrical and environmental systems journeyman, Shoemaker inspects, troubleshoots and maintains aircraft electrical and environmental systems, subsystems, components and associated test equipment. He is deployed from the 552nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., and his hometown is Waxahachie, Texas.
