Under the guidance of a Soldier from 1434th Engineer Company, Soldiers from the 17th Iraqi Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy work to place purlins on a roof March 9 at Joint Security Station Deason. The purlins, which are used as a point to attach sheet metal to, will be used to help improve the quality of the roof there. The Soldiers of 1434th were asked to train the Iraqi Soldiers at the academy how to properly fix their roof by members of 17th Military Transition Team, stationed at Deason.
