Anita Timmons, wife of 16th Engineer Brigade Commander Brig. Gen. Robin Timmons, presents a U.S. flag that flew over the unit's Baghdad headquarters to Cathie Maple, a teacher at Norwich Elementary School and wife of deployed 16th Eng. Bde. Staff Sgt. Robert Maple. Students from Maple's mixed fourth and fifth-grade class adopted the unit and have been sending the Soldiers cards and care packages.
