Benjamin Stroope, Marine marksmanship instructors from Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, briefly explain the M16 service rifle course of fire to their respective shooters during a Navy small-arms qualification relay aboard USS Ashland March 12. Marine marksmanship instructors with the 24th MEU coached and shared their expertise with Sailors assigned to USS Ashland during the qualification exercise.
