Staff Sgt. Benji Boll inspects an emergency flood barrier on the south end of Lidgerwood, N.D., March 18. Boll is a member of a 188th Engineer Company (Wahpeton, N.D.), North Dakota Army National Guard quick response force team that responded to an emergency request for flood fighting help in Lidgerwood. The team responded with personnel and equipment and initially began building a sandbag dike, until they could start hauling and dumping dike building material for contractors to mold into an earthen barrier.
