Col. Gavin Gardner and Lt. Col. Marc Staats, 82nd Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade commander and deputy commanding officer, help a Gold Star Family Member get a rubbing of her brother's name on a new monument dedicated to the Paratroopers who lost their lives while conducting combat training during a memorial ceremony at the 82nd Abn. Div. War Memorial Museum on Fort Bragg, N.C., May 25. Families, friends, and veteran Paratroopers payed their respects and honored their fallen comrades. The new monument featured more than 220 names, all training casualties.
