Maj. June Cruse, 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron operations officer, and Capt. Nate St. Louis, 908th EARS assistant operations officer, are both KC-10 Extender pilots and are shown here on the flight deck of a KC-10 at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia. They are both deployed to the 908th EARS from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., and they both are from the same county -- Rowan County -- in North Carolina. Additionally, each is a graduate of the Air Force Academy. Cruse is deployed from the 32nd Air Refueling Squadron at Joint Base MDL, and St. Louis is from Joint Base MDL's 2nd ARS.
