    SAINTE MERE EGLISE, France- Soldiers, veterans, and civilians convened for church services at the church of Sainte-Mère-Église , the historic site of the first French town liberated in the D-Day invasion, in commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of the D-Day invasion. More than 380 service members from Europe and affiliated D-Day historical units are participating in the 72nd anniversary as part of Joint Task Force D-Day 72.
