WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (June 3, 2016) - Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG) Yeoman 1st Class Christopher Thompson from Cleveland, Ohio pulls debris clear from the bank of the York River during the 28th Annual Clean the Bay day in support of the partnership between the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the United States Navy. The U.S. Navy is one of the oldest and most productive partners in this program. The participation of Sailors from NAVELSG represents a small number of the largest percentages of volunteers, debris collected, and shoreline cleaned in the Chesapeake Bay area.
