Sgt. 1st Class Gordan McBean, 173rd Airborne Brigade, gives instructions to paratroopers before they begin Static Load Training at the Intermediate Staging Base, June 4, 2016, on Ramstein Air Base, Germany. During this training paratroopers familiarize themselves with actions they must take during an airborne operation and is one many preparation drills they must conduct at the Intermediate Staging Base as part of exercise Swift Respone 16. Swift Response includes more than 5,000 Soldiers and Airmen from Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the United States and takes place in Poland and Germany, May 27-June 26, 2016.
