U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Brian L. Losey (left) assumes command of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa March 27 and is congratulated by the outgoing commander, Rear Adm. Anthony M. Kurta. Gen. William E. Ward (center), commander of U.S. Africa Command, presided over the Change of Command Ceremony. Ward said under Kurta's leadership, CJTF-HOA built friendships, forged relationships and created partnerships to enable African solutions to African challenges.
