A British Roll-On, Roll-Off ship lowers it’s ramp to begin loading U.S. military vehicles for transport from Norway to Riga, Latvia, for Exercise Saber Strike 16, May 30, 2016. U.S. military equipment is stored in hidden caves to be ready for any crisis at a moment’s notice. Exercise Saber Strike 16 is an annual combined-joint exercise in the Baltic region. The combined training prepares allies and partners to respond during regional crises and meet their own security needs by improving the security of borders and countering threats.
