SOUTH CHINA SEA (June 8, 2016) –Ensign John Temperato (back) teaches a Midshipman how to conduct contact management on a maneuvering board aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73). Decatur, along with USS Momsen (DDG 92) and USS Spruance (DDG 111), with embarked “Devil Fish” and “Warbirds” detachments of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49, are deployed as part of a U.S. 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
