A Ghana navy sailor boards USS Gunston Hall during a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure drill with the Ghana navy. The training took place as the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock-landing ship departed Sekondi, Ghana, following a visit there in support of Africa Partnership Station West. Gunston Hall is on a scheduled deployment in West Africa in support of APS West, an international initiative developed by Naval Forces Africa that aims to improve maritime safety and security in West and Central Africa.
