Pfc. Brad Bourne, patrol narcotic dog handler with the 549th Military Working Dog Detachment, is taken down by a military working dog while simulating a fleeing perpetrator during a demonstration on how trained dogs assist during a traffic stop. Military Police from the 549th MWD Detachment showcased their dogs’ capabilities during the 40th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Squadron (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) Organization Day at Otter Lake Chalet on June 3. Representatives from the 549th MWD Detachment executed a variety of commands for their dogs, to include taking down a running offender and how they assist in a traffic stop.
