MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Lt. Gen. David Berger, the commanding general of I Marine Expeditionary Force, addresses the audience at integration education training at the Marine Memorial Chapel June 7, 2016. The training highlighted the placement of female Marines into previously closed combat arms occupations and units. “It’s about managing the whole population of the Marine Corps to make sure that as a warfighting organization, we’re moving people to the right assignments,” Berger said.
