Staff Sgt. Alan Bibalo, 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron areomedical evacuation technition, teaches Johnathan Gibbs, Department of Veteran Affairs program support, proper litter carry techniques during training June 7, 2016 at the MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah, Illinois. 375th AES servicemembers worked with Department of Veteran Affairs personnel, teaching them how to transfer a patient on and off an aircraft safely. Since the DVA works with military entities during natural disasters and other emergency situations, the training familiarized DVA civilians on how the equipment the military uses.
