Amphibious assault vehicle crewmen from 2nd Amphibious Assault Vehicle platoon with Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a water gunnery range at a Djibouti beach March 25. The water range was the first time in 20 years that 2nd AAV platoon performed this type of aquatic marksmanship training. The 24th MEU Marines are currently training in a series of sustainment and bilateral exercises while in Djibouti.
