Various support team members prepare to move a fuel tarp during the twentieth iteration of Operation CARAVANA, in Mocorón, Honduras, June 8, 2016. While each member of the support team is an expert in their particular field, what makes the team special is the willingness of each member to help out wherever they are needed while they are living and working in field conditions. Since its initiation, CARAVANA has facilitated the movement of more than 5,000 troops and 225,000 pounds of cargo between remote locations in the eastern part of Honduras, giving the Honduran security teams the ability to quickly focus and adjust their forces against the ever-changing tactics Transnational Criminal Organizations use in the region.
