Exercises such as Imua Dawn 2016 provides opportunities for U.S. and Japanese forces to come together and train for potential real world events, better preparing them in supporting regional populations in all Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) and Noncombatant Evacuation Operations (NEO). Exercises such as Imua Dawn 2016 are fundamental training opportunities for military forces to refine techniques to rapidly respond to natural disasters and crises in order to help mitigate human suffering and greater property damage.
