WILMINGTON, N.C. – Citizen-Soldiers assigned to NC National Guard's 1132nd Military Police Company react to a chemical bomb attack. They are supporting the Port of Wilmington’s police force during Operation Vigilant Seahawk from June 13 - 22, 2016. They will conduct site security operations across the entire port. “We are impressed with the Guard’s professionalism and expertise in checkpoint and vehicle searching techniques,” said Port of Wilmington Chief of Police, G.S. Teague. “They are a great partner and wish we could have them around longer than one week.”
