Alberto Garcia, an infantryman with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, from Corpus Christi, Texas, puts a cage around newly-planted Joshua tree to protect the vegetation from desert wildlife during a restoration project at Joshua Tree National Park April 7.
