Minn. National Guard Spc. Patrica E. Haataja, a wheeled vehicle mechanic with the 347th Regional Support Group Headquarters company, is part of the movement transportation team.
“We get everyone to the places they need to be,” she said while supporting the 1/34th ABCT training exercise at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif., June 14, 2016.
Haataja is a diesel mechanic at Camp Ripley-CMA South and is attending college at the Minnesota State Community & Technical College for Diesel Equipment Technology.
The 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division is relying on the 347th Regional Support Group for life support during their rotation at the National Training Center. Comprised of seven companies, this unit brings the mission command, transportation expertise, human resource capabilities, medical support and eager soldiers needed to provide life support to small city.
