Joel F. Maybury addresses Task Force Koa Moana before the opening ceremony of Exercise Koa Moana, June 18, 2016, at Taurama Barracks, Papua New Guinea. The multi-national, bilateral exercise is designed to increase interoperability and relations through mil-to-nil exchange and by sharing infantry, engineering, law enforcement and medical skills. Maybury, from Washington D.C., is the Deputy Chief of Mission for the U.S. Embassy in Papua New Guinea.
