A Marine student with the Tactical Air Control Party course, conducted by Expeditionary Warfare Training Group-Atlantic, calculates the coordinates of enemy targets in order to call in accurate air support during a two-day live-fire exercise at Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 20-21, 2016. The Department of Defense requires that all ground combat elements have a TACP certified Marine in order to safely and efficiently employ air assets in combat situations.
