Crewmembers aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Fir, a 225-foot Sea-going Buoy Tender, used their rigging expertise and heavy-weight crane to assist an U.S. Army special forces unit in transporting and maneuvering Zodiac rigid-hulled inflatable boats during a joint-agency operation near Astoria, Ore., June 22, 2016.

The Coast Guard and U.S. Army mutually benefitted from the operational exercise that tested the capabilities of both services.
