MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 16, 2016) Cmdr. Christopher J. Gilbertson, commanding officer of the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87), shakes hands with Chief of the Italian Navy Adm. Guiseppe De Giorgi after a visit to observe ITS Etna (A5326) provide biofuel to Mason as part of joint international initiative between the U.S. Navy’s Great Green Fleet and Italian Navy’s Flotta Verde.
