Soldiers of 299th Cavalry Regiment, Hawaii Army National Guard conduct .50 caliber machine gun qualifications during the Exportable Combat Training Capacity program June 18 at Fort Hunter Liggett, California. XCTC focuses on fully instrumental and realistic collective training to certify platoon & company level training proficiency in coordination with First Army. Commanders and leaders assess their Soldiers strengths and weaknesses during a video review session after training which aids in their proficiency as an individual, team, platoon, unit and brigade.
