Students assigned to Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL class 282 participate in Rock Portage at Coronado Island. Rock Portage is one of many physically demanding evolutions that are a part of First Phase training. The Navy SEALs are the maritime component of U.S. Special Forces and are trained to conduct a variety of operations from the sea, air and land.
