KANEOHE, Hawaii – 1st Lt. Jacob Richardson, the headquarters platoon commander for Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment and a Collierville, Tenn., native, gives thanks, and a token of appreciation to Cynthia Chow, a branch manager with the Kaneohe Public Library, and a Kailua, Hawaii, native, after a “Meet the Community Heroes” event at the Kaneohe Public Library in Kaneohe, Hawaii, June 23, 2016. The Marines were given the opportunity to interact with children and parents from the community. Children got the chance to meet police officers, firefighters and Marines.
