Marines with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment, learn how to operate the DJI: Phantom system aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 23, 2016. The Phantom is still in development, but it is designed to provide reconnaissance for Marines during combat operations. The system will be tested during exercise Rim of the Pacific in Southern California with partner nations.
