U.S. Army Sgt. Daryl Perez, a native of Miami, FL. (left) and U.S. Army Spc. Obed Perez, a native of Waynesville, MO., both Motor Transport Operators assigned to the 515th Transport Co., 39th Transportation Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, handoff keys in Ikla, Estonia in order to exchange fuel trailers, July 1, 2016. The Soldiers of 515th Transportation Company are providing fuel for U.S. units participating in Atlantic Resolve. Units participating in Atlantic Resolve are spread from Estonia in the north all the way to Bulgaria in the south, more than 1,000 miles. Cross border supply operations like this are key to the success of these units as the distances between them can be great. Atlantic Resolve is being conducted in Eastern Europe to demonstrate U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
