Sailors assigned to the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock-landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) perform line-handling duty on the ship's flight deck during a connected replenishment with the Spanish Navy Servola-class offshore patrol vessel SPS Centinela (P 72). Gunston Hall is on a scheduled deployment in West Africa in support of Africa Partnership Station West, an international initiative developed by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa that aims to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
