BUCHEREST, Romania – A Romanian boy sits in the cockpit of an American UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter July 16, 2016 during a general aviation expedition in Bucharest, Romania. While the display featured Romanian aircraft the American helicopter had been flown in on request of the Romanian military from Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania by members U.S. military stationed at the base. The U.S. aviators are stationed in Romania as part of Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe to reaffirm the strong relationship between U.S. partners and allies in the region.
