Col. Mack Huey and Command Sgt. Ma. Michael Ashford, the commander and senior non-commissioned officer for the 89th Military Police Brigade, look on as tthe transfer of authority ceremony marking the end f their tour in Iraq, draws to a close at Camp Cropper, April 24. The 89th MP Bde. wrapped up a their year in Iraq by transfering authority to the 49th MP Tactical Command Post and the 705th Military Police battalion. The 89th was responsible for overseeing the closure of Camp Bucca in Sept. 2009 and the transfer of the Taji detentiion facility to the Government of Iraq in March 2010.
