In this file photo, Soldiers from Battery C, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, Task Force Strike, execute a fire mission in Kara Soar Base, Iraq, June 13, 2016. Battery C is supporting the Iraqi Security Forces with indirect fires as they move towards the city of Mosul. The fires mission at the Kara Soar Base serve two roles: to provide force protection for Coalition and Iraqi security forces and to support the Iraqi Security forces ground maneuver by providing indirect fire support, enabling them to defeat Da’esh.
