Kuantan, MALAYSIA- 01 Aug, 2016-. Vice Adm. Raquel C. Bono, Director of the Defense Health Agency, speaks to a packed room at the opening ceremony of the Asia Pacific Military Health Exchange 16. Co-hosted by U.S. Pacific Command surgeon and the Malaysian Armed Forces Health Services Division, the Asia Pacific Military Health Exchange (AMPHE) 2016 will include plenary sessions focused on a variety of medical professions, as well as breakout sessions specific to ground, air, and maritime forces in the Indo-Asia- Pacific region. APMHE 16 will be held until August 5th, 2016 and involves nearly 500 participants from 27 different countries focused on global health interoperability.
